Part of the Gateshead Arms complex, The Rum Shack operates as a separate entity, with its own fully stocked Tiki Bar, Snack Shack and comfortable toilet facilities.

Weather permitting The Rum Shack is open:
- Friday: 18:00 hrs - Late
- Saturday: 14:00 hrs - Late
- Sunday: 13:00 hrs - 18:00 hrs

We operate a '21 and over' age policy. Children are not allowed, other than during private functions.
Due to Health and Safety issues drinks must be purchased from the Rum Shack Bar. Drinks cannot be carried upstairs from the Lounge Bar.
Due to fire safety laws we have a dedicated smoking area. Only e-cigarettes are permitted to be smoked elsewhere.
